Event hire is offered to village residents and those with a defined association to the Bredhurst.
About Our Venue
LICENSED BAR: We are able to support hall hirers with a bar as we have teamed up with a local firm who manages the bar in the hall. We have an license allowing the sale of alcohol on the premise. The bar is a function bar and opened when booked as part of your event.

The bar is established in the hall and stocks a wide range of wines, spirits, bottles, soft drinks as well as draft lager, cider and bitter.
The prices are competitively set below what you might expect from a function bar and designed to ensure your guests receive a fast and professional service.
To ensure we adhere to the halls licensing objectives, we ask that when the bar is open, only drinks purchased from the bar are consumed in the hall.

We believe the hall was built sometime in the early 1960's on land that was once part of the village vicarage. We have heard stories that villagers came together to help physically build the hall. Since our current chairman joined the committee the hall has been undergoing major refurbishment. Although there are still further plans, after around 10 years much has been done to the hall, major projects that include men and ladies toilets refurbishment, kitchen refurbishment, replacement doors and windows and rear landscaping to incorporate a large patio with lawned areas. All projects are managed by our volunteering and hard working committee of trustees.

As well as continuing to host an array of regular clubs and organisations, the hall is ideal for wedding party's, family celebrations and public meetings.

Located on the tip of the North Kent Downs amongst an area of natural outstanding beauty and close to the parish church and local pub. Built on land that was originally part of the Vicarage Garden, the Village Hall is run by an independent committee.
