About Our Venue

LICENSED BAR:  We are able to support hall hirers with a bar as we have teamed up with a local firm who manages the bar in the hall. We have an license allowing the sale of alcohol on the premise. The bar is a function bar and opened when booked as part of your event.

You can book the bar on the Book Page of this website.

The bar is established in the hall and stocks a wide range of wines, spirits, bottles, soft drinks as well as draft lager, cider and bitter.

The prices are competitively set below what you might expect from a function bar and is designed to ensure your guests receive a fast and professional service.

To ensure we adhere to the halls licensing objectives, we ask that when the bar is open, only drinks purchased from the bar are consumed in the hall.

DJ:  The experienced DJs know what it takes to ensure the party goes with a swing.  Our suggested DJ will consult with you on your specific needs and tastes to make sure the music played to is to the taste of your guests.  They specialise in Private Parties, Weddings, Corporate Events, Charity Events and more.  Great sounding PA and professional, ‘club style’ lighting and effects. Prices for a regular private party are around just £200 for an evening.

We're thrilled to have such a stunning location that we're very proud off. For over 60 years, we've been bringing the good people of this village together by opening the hall to local organisations. Now we are showcasing the best events and acts that have ever come to the village. Conveniently located just minutes from the M2 & M20 motorways, we're in the middle of an area of outstanding natural beauty. But that doesn't mean we can't rock and roll all night long.

Hall Info

We believe the hall was built sometime in the early 1960's on land that was once part of the village vicarage. We have heard stories that villagers came together to help physically build the hall. Since our current chairman joined the committee the hall has been undergoing major refurbishment. Although there are still further plans, after around 7 years much has been done to the hall, major projects that include men and ladies toilets refurbishment, kitchen refurbishment, replacement doors and windows and rear landscaping to incorporate a large patio with lawned areas. All projects are managed by our volunteering and hard working committee of trustees.
